This handsome boy is Bockmen. He is a 9-year-old Labrador Retriever.

On Sunday, May 25th, he injured his leg running around in the yard. We are having to have a specialist fix his injured knee, and that is a very expensive process.

Bockmen, or "Bock," has been my best friend for the last 9 years. I hope for him to be that for me even longer and for him to be as happy as he can for that time.

At the age of 9, he has found love in everything around him since moving here from Redding, California. Bock has become a puppy again with his playful antics. Whether it’s sticking his head as far as he can out the window on drives or rolling in the sand at his new favorite place, the beach.

He has a fur brother named Shiloh who loves Bock tremendously and is as heartbroken just as much as we are for his injury. Bock has shown love to everyone in his life and adores being a nurse dog to any animal or human who needs it.

He is a perfect example of the Benjamin Button effect with his personality. Bock has blossomed into the dog he was always meant to be.

We are looking for help giving him a better life with this new injury by getting him the medical treatment he needs. It’s not fair that just because his body isn’t as young and strong as he acts and thinks.

Everything helps, even down to the shares. We just want to be able to give our best friend this chance of living the rest of his life the best he can.
