Supporting Bob and Val

Robert Thivierge left this world a better place after a lifetime of inspiration, teaching, and love.  He lived his life in a way that reflected his passion for his family, the martial arts and the Steelers.  Bob dedicated his life to the martial arts and shared that gift with numerous students of all ages.  No telling where his impact will continue to ripple out to or how many more people will be better for his message.  He taught martial arts for the beauty, art, and discipline it provided.  He made students believe in themselves because he believed in them.

His wife and life-long love, Valeen, was by his side each and every day until he was called to be among the greats. Due to Val's love and commitment to be by Bob's side every day, being his full-time caregiver, finances have been tight trying to make ends meet. This money will go toward his funeral expenses and to help Val to get things in order. Bob's family is so thankful for all the love and support that we have all received over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made here to ease a little bit of the expense of laying a great man to rest. Every little bit helps.
