Bob Dean's Drums Replacement Fund

Don't Let Bobby Miss  a BEAT!
Help us raise $2,000 to replace his drums destroyed in a house fire.

On the morning of October 11, Bob "The Time Machine" Dean had just left for work when he received a call from his daughter: "You better get here quick, the house is on fire." They had just moved in six weeks ago.

Bob returned home only to find that there was no stopping the fire in time. His son and daughter and their dogs got out in good shape. But the house was half totalled and Bob's "friend of many years" , his vintage Ludwig drum kit was literally MELTED and the cymbals damaged beyond repair. They lost a car and a lot of personal property. Fortunately State Farm got the family into a hotel right away. But very little of the drum kit replacement cost  was going to be covered.

If you know Bobby like we do, you know that his talent and skill on the drums is only exceeded by how genuine a human being he is. He is a family man with two teenagers, too. If you're a musician like us, playing music fuels the soul. It makes everything else in your life go better, too. Without it, you feel empty. You gotta do it, and your "axe" is highly personal. When you lose your best axe it's like a close friend died. And that's what Bob said: "It's like I lost my best friend."

So let's get him a new "friend" !!!

There will be a benefit concert at The Open Chord November 2 to help raise the $2K. You can donate now or at the event using the gofundme link right on your computer or phone. Since all donations are immediatley logged in, we can celebrate exceeding the goal at the event! Don't worry about exceeding the goal, either. We're pretty sure the family can use it to cover other losses.

We don't want Bobby to "miss a beat" so donate as much as you can and ASAP!

Every time you hear him play in the future, you can look at that drum kit and say "I helped a brother keep doing what he loves."

Thank you sincerely for your support!
