Currently, I am housed with my 16-year-old girl, JoJo, at a shelter in Long Beach. In Feb 2024, my car was prematurely sent to auction by the LBPD. The car, a 2012, was kept in excellent running condition. This GoFundMe is for me to get a rental hybrid, so I will be able to start an income stream immediately. I have SPED teaching positions available to me, where a car is necessary.

My leukemia prognosis is excellent. My energy levels have increased. I've taken a lot of figurative gut punches in the last 20 months, destroying my finances, work, and progress. I've done a lot of research regarding rideshare, spoken with at least 30 working drivers from the LBC/LA area. The requested funds would cover all auto expenses, including insurance for 2-3 months. Near the end of my first month, I'll complete employment interviews as an Educator. These funds, which I respectfully request, are truly needed, to assist strictly my EMERGENCY transportation needs.
