Bob’s Journey
Donation protected
Bob was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, November 21, for his first round of chemo. He is expected to be inpatient for 4-6 weeks for treatment. He will get to come home for a couple of weeks but will then have another hospital stay for a second round of chemo.
We also recently found out that Bob will need a bone marrow transplant to be cured. There will be many months of hospital stays and appointments coming up.
Due to the intense treatment process, Bob is no longer working. This was a very abrupt financial change to their lives. Both Bob and Kristen are always willing to help others and have only asked for prayers during this time. Please help us support them so they both can put all of their focus on getting Bob healthy and cured!
Other ways to help: Go to https://www.nmdp.org to register to be a bone marrow donor! They ship a cheek swab kit right to your house. Or go donate blood (most leukemia patients need many blood transfusions).
