Robert "Bob" Woodford, passed away on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's and a short battle with COVID-19 at Rock Creek Care Center in Auburn, California.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to this GoFundme fundraiser to make a special one-time purchase of needed clothing for the residents of the community Bob has been a part of for the last two years.
There are many challenges in optimizing memory care, one of which includes making sure residents have the clothing they need when they need them. Whether someone needs primary or loaner clothing, making sure the community closet is well stocked this fall is great way to honor Bob's legacy as a host and caring person while saying thank you to the community he has sadly left.

Details: This is a short-term fundraiser. We will end contributions 10/31/2021 and then Grace, Bob's wife, will coordinate with the team at Rock Creek to determine what is needed and this will be purchased and delivered in early November. Donations are not tax deductible. No monies will be retained by the fundraisers or paid directly to Rock Creek Care Center. Unspent money if any will be deposited into the caregiver love jar to support the great staff at Rock Creek.
