I am asking for help on behalf of my brother-in-law, Robert White, and his family. Last December, Bob received devastating medical news-a brain tumor was growing and would require surgery. His first brain surgery was in January 2025, but unfortunately the tumor returned and he need a second operation in June 2025. He is now gearing up to begin an aggressive radiation treatment (5 days a week for six weeks, beginning August 11th) in the hopes that this time the tumor will not return.
Those of you who know Bob know that he is fiercely independent, hard-working, proud and yes at times stubborn too. He is not someone who is comfortable asking for help, so I am asking on his behalf. As a self-employed contractor, Bob has worked his whole adult life with his two hands. He is no stranger to hard work and has always taken pride in knowing that his strength and skills could provide for himself and his family. Unfortunately, since late December last year when he was first hospitalized, he has been unable to work much due to physical limitations caused by the tumor. And, being self-employed, no work means no pay. His wife, Carol, has been working tirelessly to keep their family afloat and to support him, which often means missed days of work for her as she cares for him and transports him to his appointments (he is currently unable to drive).
I want to do something for them to help lessen their financial stress as Bob goes through treatment and recovery. Any amount donated will help offset the strain of high medical bills and missing income. Any amount helps, and every share of this page helps too. Please keep Bob and Carol in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
