Bob's Journey

On September 5, 2019, Bob was taking his regular walk around the neighborhood when was tragically struck by a car. He suffered multiple injuries and is in ICU at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. His right leg was amputated above the knee, a rod was placed in his left leg, his left shoulder was dislocated and he suffered numerous abrasions and lacerations. As of Sept 11, he is still unresponsive and on a ventilator. He is experiencing many complications from the trauma to his body, including pneumonia. We pray for his recovery which will include extensive rehabilitation.

Bob Macko is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet. He is a deacon at St. Louis Catholic Church and volunteers for many charities. His is a dedicated husband and father and loved by everyone he meets. He is a soft spoken man with a gentle soul! His life purpose is to serve God and care for others.

We know the expenses associated with his health care, long recovery, home preparation for his return, etc. will not all be covered with insurance. In addition, Bob was working so there will be the loss of his income. Now Bob needs YOU to help in the form of a donation in any amount. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
