Bob Lanier Medical Research Trip

Bob has been diagnosed with the behavioral variant of Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia. He is a retired Dallas Jesuit teacher with 50 years in the classroom. He is to be evaluated at the Univ of Calif at San Francisco in the Aging and Memory Division in July 2018. This form of dementia is severe and thus far, there is nothing that will help. We are in hopes that something positive will come from the evaluation, perhaps some direction in care. I have read of a possible inflammatory component to his disease and am in hopes that this may be considered,
thus some kind of referral for possible treatment. The university is willing to provide some travel funds for a hotel, but they are not able to provide funds for transportation.     His wife, Cathie
