BOBBY'S POST TOP SURGERY RELIEF FUND

Hi! I'm Bobby Coyote, a Transmasc Multidisciplinary Artist, Photographer, and Tattooist. I live in Los Angeles and love to take photos, make tattoos, thrift vintage clothing, be in nature, and enjoy life along with my amazing partner Elizabeth.

I knew as a child I was different, in more ways than one... but especially in the fact that while I was born female, I was not truly meant to be just female. I ached for a more masculine physique, but I still cherish being born with the feminine mind and experiences. I am not just one gender, I am both and more.
My family allowed me to an extent to dress and be boyish, but didn't encourage it further than being a tomboy. I went through life confused and unsure how to be what I knew I craved to be. I came out as a lesbian in my early twenties, and while dating women felt right, being one still didn't. I accepted myself as androgynous for a decade while starting to see my friends transition and deep down wondering... is that me?
Finally in 2020, I sought help with the Los Angeles LGBTQIA+ Center and started the process for Top Surgery. My doctor recommended Testosterone as well and I hesitatingly began to microdose. Immediately, I felt the shift, the rightness. I KNEW this was the path I had been so close to yet could never find, or accept. There were honestly many times I thought I wouldn't make it, where I couldn't stand being me. Now at 35 years of age I cry from happiness when I look in the mirror.

It took me my entire life to get to this point of self-recognition, love and acceptance that I AM TRANS. And I love myself so much more for that now.
I've been on Testosterone (Hormone Replacement Therapy) since July 22nd of 2020, which began my true medical transition.

I finally had my Gender Affirming Top Surgery on June 10th, 2022! Despite knowing deep down, I needed that to happen to be truly happy since I was eight years old.... I didn't have positive trans role models growing up, and it's essential to me as a human to be that for those who don't have access as well.
Being someone who prefers to help others makes it hard for me to ask for so much help, but in this case, I need my community again.

I was able to fundraise the money for the surgery, for which I am so so grateful for! But now I cannot work for several weeks and am struggling to cover rent, bills and expenses more than I anticipated. I have multiple follow-up appointments that are out of town and cost a lot of gas to get to, plus food and medical supplies. I hope to get back to work in July, but it could be up to two months I have to go without working!

Any donations are beyond appreciated; I know times are tight for everyone! Even just reposting this is a huge huge help, so thank you if you can share this!

The funds will be used to pay my rent, cover bills, and expenses such as medical supplies and meals. I also have two kitties, Bucket and Bubba, I need to feed and care for!
Due to covid I worry that I will have to wait longer than originally expected to return to work to avoid any exposure that would jeopordize my healing process and health. So I am eternally grateful to all the donors and people who can share my cause!!! I love you! And can't wait to pay forward all the good karma and love.

XOXO
Bobby
