Bobby's knee replacement failed!
Donation protected
Bobby Truman, my partner, had a total knee replacement on July 29th of this year. He did well, completed physical therapy, and was back at work without a cane after four weeks. He was doing great!
Then, he woke up one day and could barely walk. We found out this last week that his knee replacement wasn't seated correctly in the bones and the knee cap is no longer attached properly. He will have to have surgery to rebuild the whole knee! The soonest this can be scheduled is mid-December.
Because of his knee, Bobby hasn't been able to work for weeks. There are few social services available to him, and disability... Even temporary disability takes years to litigate.
We are in a desperate place right now. We are unable to meet all of our bills and buy groceries, prescriptions, etc. on just my salary. Bobby still has three weeks until he can get his surgery done and will have up to six weeks recovery. We humbly ask for help to get through this period until he can get back on his feet, literally, and work. Thank you.
