Robert Seiler II, aka Bobby, needs your help. Bobby had a mesenteric dissection in the artery that supplies blood to his intestines. This artery is critical to the health of his intestines. Without it, he would lose a good part of his intestines for the remainder of his life. Bobby needed a very invasive surgery that involved bypassing this artery to return proper blood flow to his intestines. This involved taking a blood vessel from his leg to make the bypass. A risky, serious, and scary surgery.

Bob and I met as fellow sophomores in a 1981 high school shop class and became more brothers than best friends over the next 42 years. We've had a lot of laughs over the years, smiled a whole lot, and cried a little, even as soon as the morning I created this fundraiser, after discussing the choices he and his wife, Amy, were left to make.

I met Amy (Martin) Seiler 5 years after Bob and I graduated high school. She was dating Bob at the time. Bob and I both married the women we were dating that same year and started our own families. Amy became a sister to me after she married Bobby, and we've been family ever since. Both Bob and Amy's faith in God is a good part of what's bringing them peace in this turn of events. They are seeking comfort from their heavenly Father and trusting in His provision, so your prayers and support will go a long way.

Bob and Amy have two children who have families of their own. They have a large extended family, who mostly live in the Palm Harbor, Florida area. It's a telltale sign of great love when a large extended family moves from Ohio to Florida just to do life together.

Bobby has been self-employed as a handyman for several years. Before that, he worked at the Coca-Cola company. Amy had a career as a hairdresser. Together they have managed life raising their beautiful family. Today they find themselves in need of your help. Bobby is still in recovery after the surgery. He won't be able to work for months. Medical bills will accumulate. The burden will be great. Can you find it in your heart and your finances to contribute to their financial need?

Since I am the one who started this GoFundMe campaign, Amy Seiler is listed as the beneficiary, so the money will be transferred directly to her and Bob to use as needed. I have no attachment to the donations.
