To know Bob is to know a true badass. From playing the drums to being a rockstar dad, Bob has always been the first to make sure everyone was having fun and felt welcomed all with a genuine kind heart. 

As you may know, in April of 2020, Bob was diagnosed with an inoperable glioblastoma brain tumor. Over the last 2 years he has undergone radiation and chemotherapy, which he seemingly reacted positive to as scans showed his tumor was shrinking. As you can imagine this gave them great encouragement that things were headed in a very positive direction.

Unfortunately during a recent, routine 3-month checkup in April, scans show that Bob’s tumor has aggressively grown back and increased. They were told devastating news from Bob’s doctors, that there was not much they would be able to do. Bob and his wife Angela, have 2 amazing twins, Ryan and Ella, who will be 10 in September. As you can imagine this is not news any parents want to share with their 9-year olds.  

Between running from activities for the children and maintaining both work and a household, while helping to navigate Bob’s treatment and now end of life care, Ang was the only working member of the family has now had to make incredible adjustments to her work schedule (which was already challenged due to the ongoing pandemic)  

Right now we want to ensure that Ang, Bob, Ryan and Ella can focus inward on their family. We are setting up this GoFundMe with the intention of helping the Leap family with their mounting household expenses, while also giving them flexibility to enjoy their time together and the moments ahead without worry. This will help them to stay centered on their family, and continuing to support Bob as he continues his battle (bc in true badass fashion, he will continue to fight aggressively with all that he has!)
