Bobby Strong (Bob Shriver)
Donation protected

On June 13, 2018, while repairing their chimney at home, Bob suffered a seizure while on a ladder and then fell 15 feet to land on the deck. He was rushed to a trauma hospital where the medical team fought to keep him alive over the next 24 hours. It was very touch and go with his heart actually stopping at one point. Bob has multiple broken bones in his neck, back, and ribs. He has had one spinal surgery and still has more ahead. His doctors have explained he will likely be out of work for six months. He will stay in the hospital for many more weeks and then will have inpatient rehabilitation for his injuries, he will not even be home for months. To say he has a long road ahead of him doesn't even begin to explain it. This is a loss of income for SIX MONTHS at least in addition to all the other fees of hospital parking, gas, out of pocket medical expenses etc.
Bobby is the first guy to offer help to anyone that needs it and I know he is a proud man who would never ask for help now that HE needs it, but he really needs it. Please if you are able to gift anything to Bobby and Mary so that they can focus on Bob's recovery and not worry about bills it would be so appreciated As of today, one week after his fall, he still has a breathing tube to help him, is still sedated (so hasn't been able to speak) and has had a few minor setbacks from the first surgery but he is in the doctors own words A MIRACLE! They never expected him to pull through the first night. He is so strong and Mary is his rock right now, so let's show them how strong we, their friends and family, can be for them
Thank you so much for your generosity!
