Help Support Bobby Miller and Her Family in This Difficult Time

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

As some of you may know, my mom’s lifelong friend, Bobby Miller, suffered a massive stroke on January 19th and has been in critical condition in the ICU ever since. It has been an uphill battle, with moments of hope and devastating setbacks. She has endured multiple emergency surgeries and severe complications, and while we continue to pray for a miracle, the odds remain against her.

Bobby has been an integral part of our family, living with my mom and helping care for my brother, who requires round-the-clock support. Her son, Dean Miller, is now faced with unimaginable decisions and overwhelming financial burdens as he prepares for what may come.

Unfortunately, Bobby had very little means. While she selflessly ensured her son had life insurance, she was never able to secure anything for herself. She never had the opportunity to purchase a burial plot or make arrangements for even a simple cremation. As my family planned for these things years ago, I was shocked to learn just how expensive even the most modest funeral can be.

On top of this, medical expenses continue to grow, and if Bobby survives, she will require extensive long-term care in a tracheotomy facility and then a nursing home. These costs will be far beyond what her insurance can cover, leaving Dean with an unbearable financial and emotional strain.
