On Friday, October 4th, 2025, 13-year-old Bobby Mbuagbaw was struck by a car while riding his bike with his younger brother. Bobby is a 7th-grade student at Liberty Jr. He is currently in the ICU at UC Medical Center fighting for his life.

Bobby has a love for the outdoors and can always be seen riding his bike around his neighborhood.

The Liberty Township Neighborhood communities, along with friends and families across Lakota and beyond, are rallying together in support of the Mbuagbaw family.

As Bobby’s family has encountered unthinkable shock and uncertainty, they are also faced with medical costs.
