Hello Friends and Family of "Bobby Manning" Robert, Dad, Grandpa, Coach, Uncle, Brother, Teacher, Mentor:

Whatever you call him, we can all agree, he is one special, genuine, loyal, dedicated guy!

My name is Robin, I am Bobby's younger sister. I am starting this fundraiser to assist with living, medical and rehabilitation expenses during Bobby's recovery.

For as long as I can remember, Bobby has spent his days playing, coaching, and dreaming about baseball. He has a love for the outdoors, kids, and always helping others. From Little League to College baseball and beyond, baseball has been in the forefront of Bobby's days, evenings and weekends. He has coached, travel teams, high school teams, and college teams. He spends his evenings doing private coaching as well. He has been a positive role model in so many lives, and has helped many realize their dreams of playing college baseball and even MLB. When congratulated on HIS accomplishments, he humbly replies, "it wasn't me, they put in the work".

Now, Coach Robert needs our help! A couple of weeks ago, 57 year old Robert was having trouble breathing, he went to the ER and was told he had pneumonia and RSV. He went home with antibiotics. After a few days of feeling worse, he returned to the ER. After many tests, and a CT scan, it was determined that he was in acute heart failure with 80-90% blockage in 4 of his arteries, and would need quadruple bypass open heart surgery. After waiting for his chest to clear; today, March 3rd, Bobby underwent bypass surgery. He did pull through and the Surgeon is optimistic about his prognosis! He will have a long recovery ahead of him. A minimum of 4-6 months.

Being a self-employed private baseball coach, Robert relied on his baseball skills, knowledge and physical abilities to earn a living. He needs our support now. If you can find it in your heart, and feel compelled to give back to a man that gave so much of himself each and every day, we would be very grateful. I know he is anxious to get back to coaching asap! Above all else, Robert believes in the power of prayer, and he would welcome all your prayers for strength, and a healthy, speedy recovery!
