Bobby Leszcynski's Kickin' Cancer's Ass

Donazione protetta
On March 31, 2023, Bobby (or dad - this is Katie writing) was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma, or easier said... terminal brain cancer.

Ever since then, he's done radiation and chemo. Once those treatments stopped working in early 2024, he joined a clinical trial at Northwestern in Chicago. He's had a craniotomy and has now done 2 chemo treatments as part of the trial.

He's had a few strokes over the last several weeks. We're currently attempting to treat those while also continuing the clinical trial. Like he says, they're just setbacks :)

After a year of treatments, many trips to Chicago (and more to come), speech therapy and other "life" things with the Leszcynski's, we're in need of some help. Dad has 4 more cancer treatments as part of the trial in Chicago. In between that, he has labs/appointments and more speech therapy.

It's not easy for my family to ask for help. We take after dad and prefer to be selfless and help others. But we think it's time. We've heard a lot of "How can we help" type questions along the way and haven't been sure how to answer that! Thank you to those who have already helped and especially for the thoughts and prayers - they work.

Feel free to donate if you're able and please know we appreciate each and every one of you! We're trying to do all we can to keep our dad, mom's husband and a friend to many of us as long as we can so we can continue to hear his bad jokes and his classic laugh!
