Latest news to our family has brought the ugly word of cancer once again to us (5 out of of 9 siblings), now to our 5th sibling, Bobby. He has been diagnosed with stage 3-4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  Bobby is well loved, with many asking how to assist him.  He is a very private and proud man and is hesitant to ask for help so we are reaching out for him.  His anticipated costs may be around $10,000 in 2020. As of today, his treatments have been going well and his attitude has been phenomenal. He has a positive and very outgoing personality and if you ever get the chance to speak with him, you will also find him as fun and personable as we do.

Some of the expenses we hoping to assist with are: medical, multiple medications, tests, possible surgery, and lost wages due to his inability to work for the next 6 months, if not longer.  In addition, he also has the everyday expenses of rent, utilities, car payments, insurance payments, etc… We thought his treatment plan was only until the end of January but he was informed it will be at least until May due to the severity of the cancer and the many more chemotherapy treatments required. His short term disability from his work is minimal and won’t even cover daily expenses. His siblings have contributed this past year but unfortunately, the out of pocket expenses from his insurance start all over in the new year.
