Bobby Cerasoli's Fight Against Cancer!
Donation protected
Bobby was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue sarcoma called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumors(DSRCT), on September 14th.
This all began back in July when he was experiencing some stomach issues and digestive problems. The pain continued for quite a few weeks over multiple visits to his primary care physician, until on September 2nd after some abnormal test results were revealed, the decision to take him to Mott's Children's Hospital @ U of M in Ann Arbor was made. After a week of tests and questions/frustrations @ U of M, he was scheduled for an abdominal laparoscopic procedure. This is when surgeons found that he had cancer in his abdomen. Shortly after the cancer was found in his abdomen, a PET scan was conducted, which found cancer was also in his chest/neck/pelvis and several other parts of his body.
Bobby is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments. After a handful of rounds, he'll be re-evaluated to determine if he's eligible for any surgeries or radiation before he continues chemo. His parents(Sarah Chapman/Bob Cerasoli) have taken time off of work through the duration of these treatments and the funds will help offset medical/living expenses.
