Bobby and Christy Family House Fire

Hi, this is the neighbors of Bobby and Christy on W Kathleen Drive.

On Sunday, August 7th Christy and Bobby lost everything in a fire that started in the basement of their home. Fire departments from Park Ridge and surrounding towns rushed to quickly put out the fire. According to the Investigators and due to the extent of the fire and smoke, Christy and Bobby have lost approximately 90% of their home and all personal belongings. They are not allowed to remove anything or live in the house for 8-12 months.

Bobby and Christy have two children, Christian is a Junior in High School and Maya is a Sophomore in College as well as her mom (88 years old) living with them who has medical conditions.

The neighborhood and surrounding areas are trying to help with anything we can to help ease the stress and transition they are going through. We are starting this GoFundMe page to help them re-build their day-to-day living needs.

This is important to the neighborhood as they moved in 2 years ago and have quickly connected and become part of the neighborhood family! We all support and help one another in times of need we need to come together for this tragedy.
