Support for Will Dillard and His Son Bobby’s Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of urgency to support our dear friend and Muay Thai fighter, Will Dillard, who is facing an unimaginable challenge. In June of this year, Will received the devastating news that his 3-year-old son, Bobby, who is a twin, had a brain tumor. What started as a sudden and alarming discovery soon became an even harder battle — Bobbys tumor was identified as medulloblastoma, an aggressive and cancerous tumor common in children.

Bobby’s Fight So Far:

- In early June, Bobby began showing symptoms that led Will and his family to seek medical help. After an initial doctor’s visit, they were sent to a local hospital for a CT scan. The results were immediate and overwhelming. Bobby was rushed to London for an MRI, which revealed a tumor on his brain and a dangerous buildup of fluid.
- To relieve the pressure, Bobby had to undergo emergency surgery to have a hole drilled into his skull. Shortly after, a second surgery was performed, and miraculously, the entire tumor was successfully removed.
- However, the battle was far from over. After surgery, it was confirmed that the tumor was malignant, and Bobby was diagnosed with medulloblastoma. He was immediately admitted to the Royal Marsden Hospital as a cancer patient and has since started an intensive treatment plan involving both chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Treatment Plan:

- Bobby began his first round of chemotherapy in mid-July, and starting in September, he began six weeks of radiotherapy at UCLH Hospital in London. This treatment is incredibly taxing, requiring general anesthesia every day to ensure Bobby remains perfectly still throughout the process.
- Following radiotherapy, Bobby is expected to begin more intensive rounds of chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital in December. These sessions will last 3-4 days, followed by a three-week recovery period, and this cycle will be repeated multiple times to give him the best chance at beating this cancer.

How You Can Help:

Will, a dedicated father and a cherished member of the Silver Spirit Muay Thai gym in Basildon, has been balancing the emotional and financial strain of Bobby’s diagnosis. As a self-employed individual, Will has been unable to work full-time and faces mounting financial pressures as he focuses on caring for his son’s and supporting his family during this difficult time.

The Silver Spirit Muay Thai gym is more than just a training center—it’s a family. Will and his boys are an integral part of our community, and we are coming together to raise funds so that he doesn’t have to worry about finances while his son is fighting for his life.

Your donations will go directly toward:

- Medical bills and ongoing treatment costs
- Travel expenses for daily trips to London for Bobby’s treatment
- Basic living expenses to support Will and his family while he is unable to work full-time
- Any additional support needed during Bobby’s recovery journey

No donation is too small, and every little bit helps. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word. Your support—whether financial, emotional, or simply by sharing Bobby’s story—means the world to Will and his family during this incredibly challenging time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read Bobby’s story and for supporting. Sending love and support to Brave Bobby, Brave Reggie and their Brave Mum & Dad

With gratitude and hope,
Sean, Hannah and the Silver Spirit Muay Thai Family
