Bobbie JoJo’s Breast Cancer Fund

Hi, my name is Timbalyn Moss.

This fundraiser is for my youngest daughter Bobbie, or some may know her by her nickname JoJo. She is 24 years old, the youngest sibling of 3 brothers and 1 sister. She was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 31st, 2024. It started with a lump in October and has grown since. Since January 2024, beginning with ultrasounds and biopsies. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions since.

Her diagnosis is High-Grade, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma that is identified as Triple-Negative Breast Cancer. This means that her body was unable to fight off the abnormal (cancer) cells that formed in her ductal system and it spread throughout her cell walls in the ductal system and has spread throughout her left breast. It is rapidly growing and is likely to spread to the rest of her body without prompt treatment. We have spoken to her medical oncologist and she will be undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy for the next 6 months. Following completion of chemotherapy, she will have to have a double-mastectomy, and as long as the doctors are able to get all of the cancer, she’ll undergo another year of immunotherapy from there.

Bobbie was working as a bartender, a Patient Care Technician at Ascension St. John’s Women’s and Children’s Surgical Unit, a student at Tulsa Community College, and applying for the nursing program for the Fall 2024 semester prior to this diagnosis. She is currently still trying to continue schooling and looking into assistance for being unable to perform her previous qualifications for these jobs, due to her diagnosis.

Bobbie’s family, boyfriend Tanner, and I are hopeful to raise money to help pay for her treatment that insurance is unable to pay for the next two years.
