Boba’s Stage 5 Cancer Fundraiser
Donation protected
10/18/2022:
Hello everyone, I would like to update this GoFundMe as Boba has been diagnosed with stage 5 cancer today with the Oncologist. We wanted to go through some of the processes Boba will be going through and why we have decided to ask for more money.
Boba currently has an oral lymphoma on the right side of his mouth and is currently undergoing tests to see if the cancer has spread to other organs. What we know: If it is just in his mouth, he will undergo radiation for 3 weeks which should let him average another 2-3 years of life. If it has spread, this range goes down to 3-9 months. He will be going to radiation everyday for the next 3 weeks and will continue to do regular checkups after.
I wanted to thank everyone for their generosity and continued support, and we cannot thank you enough for simply just keeping our dog in your thoughts. We upped our fundraiser to 10 grand as the tests today are roughtly another two thousand dollars and radiation can range from $6-8k. We ask that if you please SHARE this story! We want this fundraiser to meet as many people as possible.
What we have currently done:
- We are in the process of applying for some grants to see if Boba can qualify
- We have also signed up for care credit so we can give Boba treatments as quickly as possible
Thank you again for taking your time to read, share, & donate. It means so much to us to know so many people support us.

Hello! My name is Michelle and I am creating this GoFundMe in behalf of my partner and his dog, Boba.
Boba has been with us for 6.5 years now and he is in great health and a very spunky personality. Recently we have noticed that his diet has changed drastically and a big flare up on his gums. Knowing that his teeth are brushed daily, we ruled out gum disease and took him to the vet. After countless visits and recently with a specialist, we discovered that he needs the inflamed tissue removed ASAP before it evolves into Oral Cancer — which in Corgis do not have much time after that is diagnosed.
I kindly and humbly ask for you to consider donating to his upcoming procedure. We are doing what we can to pay for his surgery, and this is something we are hesitant about, but this is going to be the best option for Boba and we value his quality of life over everything.
If you are not able/want to donate, we ask that you consider sharing.
