Boba's Medical Expenses

Hello, I’m Kevin Phui. I apologize and it is shameful to ask for aid but my little companion who is my best friend has got into a tragic accident. He’s a two-year-old Maltipoo named Boba who loves to go to the park to chase after squirrels and pee on trees. He is such a happy dog who loves belly rubs and taking over my bed, to the point where I have no space to sleep. He loves the beach and enjoys watching the sunset during the evening time.

I had him ever since he was just a pup, some would say that I saved him from his prior owner, but I honestly believe that he was the one who saved me. He taught me so much and I know that the lessons he is trying to teach me are not over yet.

The incident occurred on August 15, 2022, as I was taking my boy to park, he suddenly leaped out of the car and was hit by the vehicle behind us. Right as the incident happened, I rushed him to several hospitals but was denied help. After countless efforts, however, I was able to find an emergency hospital who was willing to take him. As he was emitted into the emergency room, the doctors informed me that his left eye would not be able to be saved due to the trauma he encountered. The doctors also noticed that he was limping due to swelling of his right paw. Thankfully, the surgical removal of his left eye was a success and we were able to bring him home the following day.

Three days ago, my dearest fluff ball got into a tragic accident, and it is still a struggle to adapt to his new lifestyle. The surgery was a success, but the most critical part now is the healing process. Boba got to come home on 08/16/2022, but still has concerns about his eye care, bowel movements, and bruising on his right paw.

The medical expenses were hard to gather on the spot, but I couldn’t lose my boy. I am kindly asking if it would be possible to donate to me and my family for our little boy, Boba. He still needs to continue some medical care for the post-accident event and unfortunately, I have overdrafted my finances.

Boba may just be a dog, but to me he has become my lifetime companion. I understand that this is a lot to ask for and I do not expect to meet the goal in full, but anything helps. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
