Bob Wethington Farewell

Bob Wethington lived a full life in Celo, NC.   He was relocated back to Louisville, KY for his final years where his primary care-giver was his daughter, Wesleigh Wethington.  Bob and Wesleigh were inseparable in his final years.  They had daily breakfast with their neighborhood goats, bringing them both morning joy.   They often went out for lunch, sang in the car, and shared laughs whenever they could.  Some of Bob’s final words were that his daughter Wesleigh was the best thing he ever contributed to this world.  Bob never had much financially, and Wes was invaluable to him as a friend, caregiver, and daughter.  

Now that Bob has been freed from his body, he and Wes need help fulfilling his final wish to rest in what he considered his real home, on the S. Toe River in North Carolina. 

On September 14-17, Wesleigh will be joined by friends and family in a celebration of Bob’s life.   They will gather on the river bank to tell stories, eat some of his favorite foods, and share a few beverages in his honor.  Before the celebration of life, there will be a private scattering of Bob’s ashes in his favorite place on the river, allowing him to remain home in North Carolina.   
 
Your support will provide help in transporting Bob to North Carolina, supplying a feast in his honor, and ensuring Wesleigh is able to give Bob the final sendoff that both he and she deserve.   We all appreciate anything you are able to contribute to Bob’s celebration of life.
