Bob Walker's Journey: From ICU to Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Bob Walker. In 2024-2025, I became very sick. I was admitted to the I.C.U. twice in 2024. Most recently, I was told that I was down to my last limits of life; this was in December. I had lost so much blood internally that I had to go through multiple transfusions, hospital, and doctor’s visits. This has taken its toll on my body and mind.
My inability to function has forced me to leave my work and file for disability. This process is very long, and I am at the point now where I am facing tremendous financial hardships. There is very limited transportation in my area, and getting to appointments has been very costly. I have chosen not to drive during this struggle because I would never want to hurt another if something medical came up.
I face a very scary, VERY expensive liver transplant surgery, financial difficulties even to the point of facing eviction. I don’t know where else to turn anymore, and my faith has become so strong. But faith alone can’t help, so I respectfully ask for the help of my family and loved ones that have been in my life since day one! Most importantly, my beloved friends.
