Bob Vogel’s funeral costs
Donation protected
Hi everyone, My Name is Rory Vogel, I’m the youngest of Bob Vogel’s four children. My father passed away in his sleep yesterday, March 21st.
Robert Francis Vogel lived to the age of 50, and leaves behind four sons, and a granddaughter. Some may know him as Bob the Butcher, from the 22 years he worked in the meat and seafood department at Lunds and Byerlys. He took such pride in his work, many of his customers adored him for his precision and character.
Outside of work, he was extremely passionate towards grilling and smoking food. My Dad must have grilled at least a third of every meal I’ve eaten in my life, which never brought a complaint from my brothers or myself!
He made every attempt to bring out these qualities around our family and friends, and he always tried to lead by example. Many of my best traits were inherited through his actions, he was kind to strangers and friends alike, could speak to your soul by the end of your first conversation with him, and truly stood his ground; Even if that meant rooting for the Eagles.
My Dad was survived by his four sons, Rush, Patrick, Jake, Rory and his granddaughter, Violet.
Our family asks that you donate any amount you possibly can, to cover the costs of his funeral and burial.
My Dad’s funeral will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, March 30th, at 11am.
May his soul Rest In Peace.
