Bob Turnquist's recovery fund
As some of you know, Bob Turnquist was recently diagnosed with a type of cancer in his stomach classified as a Type 1 gastric carcinoid. On July 7th, he had surgery at OHSU to have two malignant neuroendocrine tumors removed from his stomach and three lymph nodes that were areas of concern. The surgery was very successful, and thankfully Bob will not need chemotherapy, but WILL need annual tests and scans to ensure there is no regrowth (and additional surgery if there is). Currently, Bob is recovering and starting the rehabilitation process, but this of course takes time.
Many of you have asked what we can collectively do for Bob.
Let's use this platform to show him some love and support as his medical bills begin to come in while he is taking time off work to allow for proper healing.
