Bob Thompson needs help mounting medical costs
Hello, my name is Terri Papp Farrar and I’m
doing this for my best friends who would
never ask for themselves. Their names are
Bob/Bobby and Raeline
(pronounced Ray-Lean) Thompson. Some of
you know them and some of you don’t. Bobby
is my oldest friend (50+years) and Raeline is
my best friend.
They are a Harley Davidson, animal loving, fun-loving couple that have been together for 47 years and has always been there for anyone
that has needed help.
Bob grew up on Keeler avenue between Northavenue and Grand avenue. He went to St. Phil-omena grammar school (not his favorite place, lol) and also Prosser HS.
Bob is in the fourth stage of emphysema and
was inadvertently exposed to COVID-19
approximately 3 weeks ago more than likely
from a
visiting in-home nurse. After they’re got the
call Raeline was the first to get sick and she
had a severe case of it which she toughed it
out alone while still taking care of Bob. Now
he has it and it doesn’t look good. His angel of a wife has never left his side and she is all
alone. concerning my Bobby it may just be a
matter of days. Raeline finally told me today
that the Cremation Association will take care of Bob for around $800.00 (they can’t afford a
funeral home) but after that and paying her
mortgage next week she will be penniless.
She works from home but due to her illness
and taking care of Bobby and all the other
expenses there is next to nothing coming in
for the immediate future. Bob couldn’t get life insurance, no company would cover him and if
they had found one they wouldn’t have been
able to pay the premiums.
So, please if you can help with any amount it
would be a blessing, Please keep them in your hearts and maybe say a little prayer for them,
Thank you
