Bob Stewart’s covid recovery
Donation protected
Bob Stewart has been my best friend since we were in high school well over 30 years ago. From working on cars in high school, to skipping school to go to Taco Bell, playing in the same band together, going to concerts, having a pizza party, to just hanging out being friends, we remain best friends to this day!
On November 7th, Bob moved into his new home with his family. On November 14th he was admitted to the hospital with Covid pneumonia. Treatment with remdesivir was unsuccessful, so he was given tocilizumab.
The day after that treatment he was transferred to the ICU, his lungs began to collapse, and on top of Covid pneumonia, he also had bacterial pneumonia.
As of 12/22/2021 Bob has had 6 chest tubes inserted. His lungs have turned to mush, and they are almost unrecognizable on a CT scan. Talc, doxycycline, and pleurodesis have all been tried. He needs surgery, but he is not strong enough to withstand the surgery. This is one of the strongest dudes I know. He is still hooked to 3 chest tubes. Doctors, surgeons, and other specialists don’t know the extent of the damage caused by covid.
Bob has been a respected musician in the local scene in bands such as Hatecore Inc, Smite Thy Enemy, Devour, Flames Burn Black, Kronus, and Burn the living. He’s always been the one to jump on a bill for a benefit to help others in their time of need!
Bob would never ask for help. He’s always the one to help everyone else.

All donations from this Go Fund Me will go directly into his bank account.
Bob has been a truck driver who cannot work for an undetermined amount of time due to this condition. He’s a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a friend to many. Now it’s time to help him.
