Bob Shaw Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, May 3, 2020 we lost a dear friend and neighbor, Bob Shaw, due to complications of Covid 19. Bob celebrated his 69th birthday just days before being rushed to the hospital.
Bob leaves behind his partner in crime, and loving wife, Kathleen, as well his two sons, Aaron and his wife, Jennimae and Nate. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, James and Natalia.
Bob was the type of neighbor that was never seen without Kathleen. Anytime there was someone in need or an event to attend to help others, they were there, attached at the hip, giving generously of their time. You may have run into Bob at the YMCA or both of them at St. John’s The Evangelist Church in North Beverly or just walking around Centerville. Although his sons Aaron and Nate may no longer live in Beverly, they still have a huge connection in this community.
At this time, the family has not been able to mourn together. You see, Kathleen has also tested positive for Covid-19, is quarantined, and unable to go back to work as a nurse. You can only imagine how difficult it must be to not be able to see your friends nor hug your family during this incredibly difficult time. Instead, we stand from afar and hope our wonderful neighbor can find solace in knowing that we haven’t forgotten about her.
We’ve established this Bob Shaw Memorial Fund to support Bob’s family in this unexpected time of need to help fray the costs of funeral arrangements as well as the expected medical bills. Please give what you can. Thank you.
