Bob Saari: Musician and Composer fighting Parkinson’s Disease
This is a call for urgent assistance that Bob and Sue Saari will require during the upcoming months. Those of you who know Bob may be aware that he has been fighting Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s dementia for some time. Unfortunately, Bob’s condition has advanced to where he requires daily homecare assistance. Sue had been Bob’s primary caregiver but recently has had to hire daytime help. To complicate matters, Sue’s knee replacement surgery several years ago failed, causing a severe infection that required surgery. Sue is currently recovering from reconstructive total knee replacement surgery and now both Bob and Sue require homecare assistance.
Homecare service is enormously expensive and the Saari’s insurance and Medicare programs will not pay for any of it. They anticipate a minimum expense of $50,000 for their upcoming homecare needs. The Saari’s have already used up most of their savings on Bob’s medical expenses and are worried that what’s left will not cover the pending homecare charges. Regrettably, Bob and Sue find it necessary to sell and find a smaller home.
Bob grew up in Painesville, Ohio and served with the U.S. Army 2nd Armor Division during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the music business program at the University Of Miami in Florida and received a Master’s of Music Composition from The Ohio State University. Bob had a long career in the music industry with The Wurlitzer Company, Baldwin Piano and Organ Company, Petrof, and Pearl River. Bob composed music and is a member of ASCAP http://robertsaaricomposer.com . Sue has a Doctor of Music in Composition from The Ohio State University, and has taught music at the elementary, secondary, and University levels. Her passion is native plants http://gonativesnow.com.
We are reaching out to you for immediate financial assistance. Your personal donation to Bob and Sue Saari, which is not tax deductible, will be used exclusively to help pay for their immediate homecare services.
We thank you in advance for your compassion and generous contribution.
