Bob needs a new heart

Bob, a Hillsborough, New Jersey teacher, was looking forward to retirement a few years down the road. Then he found out the Congestive Heart Failure he had been battling for years had gotten much worse. Now he needs a heart transplant. It is the only thing left that can save him now.

Bob has had more than his share of hard times, medically speaking. I’ve watched him take on all of it with a strength and positive attitude that amazes me.

There are so many extra costs with a surgery of this kind. It is a little frightening what could happen to us financially at this time in our lives. But we will do whatever is necessary to keep this kind, funny, thoughtful person with us. Those of you who know him personally know the smiles he has put on so many faces, students and adults alike!
