Bob Lost Everything in Fire
Donation protected
Thank you for coming to Bob's page. My brother, Bob Partee, lost everything in an apartment fire, in the early morning hours of August the 11th in Fayette, Ohio. We are blessed that Bob did not perish in the fire that started in another apartment and spread quickly to his. He escaped with a cell phone, walker, and in his pajamas, there was no time for shoes. We have heard from so many of you, asking about helping Bob, so we decided to form this page for him.
If you know Bob, you know he has faced many challenges throughout his life, the loss of his beloved wife, Beth, to complications of diabetes after 13 years of marriage, leaving him to raise their two young daughters, followed by his diagnoses of a rare form of gastrointestinal cancer. He persevered through all of this, went back to school in his mid-forties and became a nurse. Unfortunately after ten years of nursing, he suffered a stroke, had open heart surgery, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and most recently has been battling kidney failure. He has faced all of these challenges with determination and slightly acerbic humor.
Bob has been through so much and now with the fire, he has lost everything from his toothbrush to his kitchen table. We thank you for anything that you can give.
