Please Help Trudy Llewellyn cover her husbands funeral

THANK YOU ro each and everyone of you that donated, your generosity is forever in our hearts.

Trudy & Elizabeth

We broken heartly announce that Bob passed on February 7th please continue to donate as the family now has unexpected funeral expenses. https://www.middletonfuneralhome.com/obituary/robert-bob-m-llewellyn

My brother in law Bob suffered a serious injury to his neck on January 10th. He is in ICU at the QEII, in Halifax, NS. He has had surgery, several vertebrae shaved, and rods and screws inserted into his neck. He has paralysis on one side of his body that hopefully will improve although we are unsure of his recovery timeline. It could be 6 months or more. We are fundraising for Bob to help cover medical expenses as well as day-to-day family expenses while he is unable to work. If you can donate any amount, the family would greatly
appreciate it. Please share to draw attention, and thank you ahead of time for your generosity.

Jan 18th UPDATE: C5 broken vertebrae and a compressed spinal cord causing major issues from the neck down. Surgery was done last weekend he can move his right foot slightly. No other lower body movements at this time. He can move his upper arms slightly but not elbows , hands and fingers He requires total care at this time. He got his wheelchair today.

January 27th update:
Bob continues to heal in hospital. His 34 staples have been removed from this surgery incision, and recently received a new electric wheel chair from the occupational therapy department to replace his manual one which is much more comfortable for him and gives him this opportunity to maneuver it himself. Bob has also recently come down with an infection as we patiently wait for a space at the rehabilitation recentre. Bob is facing some concerns regarding his diaphragm functions that were affected from the fracture in his spine. The Respiratory team continues to conduct tests to best figure out what is happening. He would like to thank each and every person who has contributed thus far, no matter how big or small. But sadly we have a very long, slow and costly time yet to go.
