The purpose of this fundraiser is to purchase a simple memorial stone for Bob's grave in the Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor NY where he is buried. Bob passed away at the end of March 2023 from cancer and the authorities have not been able to locate any next of kin. The county provided a grave but nothing is marking it with his name, dates, etc. Since Bob's passing, I have connected with a number of his friends from many corners of his life. It's quite evident we all knew the same man, just from different perspectives. But one thing is for sure, he would go out of his way to help you if you were in need. Bob was a hardworking, very intelligent, loyal guy and he does not deserve to leave this world without a stone to say who he was. I know many of his friends have said they would like to contribute and I'm not asking for a specific donation, please just give what you can so a simple stone bevel marker (24" wide, 12" deep, 6" high) can be made for Bob. Your help is greatly appreciated.
