"It is with much sadness that I share with you that we received the very sad news today that Bob Koch, who has been canoeing down the Mississippi River in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs STARZ24 Teen Center; has passed away. Bob was such a caring and kind man and we are still deep in shock. We ask that you please keep his wife and children, as well as other extended family and our community in prayer as we mourn the loss of this very gracious man who lost his life in the pursuit of doing good for others."
This fundraiser represents a donation from the Duke Energy family in memorium of Bob Koch to support the organization that he clearly cared about deeply.
