In March of 2021, Bob Finamore was diagnosed with advanced bile duct cancer. The past year has included chemotherapy and a Y90 radiation treatment to target the cancer. Side effects of the cancer and/or the treatment have caused Bob to have various procedures. These include paracentesis (draining fluid from the abdomen) and thoracentesis (draining fluid from the lung area.) October brought a fall that caused a T12 compression fracture that was treated in December with a kyphoplasty procedure. (insert cement in spine to strengthen spine)
Due to all the challenges that cancer and cancer treatment have brought, Bob can no longer work. This has created financial concerns for the Fin Fam. (Bob, wife Liz, daughters Angi, Olivia, and Ella.) In full disclosure, we share that Bob has been awarded disability benefits, but those will not begin for several more months. We wish to create a “bridge fund” to help cover expenses until that happens.
