As many of you know my dad was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) not exactly the news we wanted right before Christmas. The fact that they caught it early is a blessing but he will require some immediate, intensive treatment including a month long stay in Salt Lake City where he will have chemo therapy and bone marrow transplant. While medical insurance is great they will be facing expenses that insurance won't cover fully such as life flight, several rounds of blood transfusions, multiple scans, hospital stay, room and board for my mom while she stays with him in the next month and many more. So many amazing friends and family have asked what they can do and honestly, this would be the most helpful right now. Continued prayers are needed through this journey and the outpouring of love and offers support have been heartwarming!!!
