As most of you know, Bob got COVID the second week in October. By the end of October he had to go to the hospital because he couldn’t break his fever and he also had a bad cough. He spent the night and was sent home. About 2 weeks later he awoke in the morning and was struggling to breath. He needed to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. His oxygen levels were down in the 60’s and he was gasping for air. After being checked out they found that he had covid pneumonia. With Bob having Lymphoma, we knew this was going to be hard on him. After being there a few days, he had to be put on heavy flo oxygen. After a couple weeks in the hospital things weren’t getting better. They had to put him on heavy antibiotics that make him sick. He had lost his appetite and is losing weight. They were able to take him off the heavy flo oxygen and put him on regular flow. Unfortunately, late last night, one of Bob’s lungs collapsed, causing more difficulty breathing. He was moved to the ICU and ultimately placed On a ventilator. Bob has been in there for over 30 days. With him being placed on a ventilator, it’s uncertain as to when he will be able to come home.
The Caldwell family is appreciative of all of your love and support. They would appreciate donations in any amount to help with medical expenses and for Bob's recovery.
Please pray for Bob as he continues his fight, so he can be back home with his family.
