Hi everyone. It is with a heavy heart I am writing this campaign for a very great friend and boss. Who happens to also be a great father, husband, cousin, and grandpa. Bobby is a kind and generous man. He helps so many with his helping hand and generous ways. Always willing to take the time for his neighbors, family or someone he just met. He is loved by many and loves many. Bobby went from perfectly fine last Thursday to very ill in a matter of hours. This is from his daughter Jackie regarding his condition. My dad, Bob Wayman, needs all the positive energy or prayers. We are dealing with lung and brain cancer. He's still in the hospital awaiting the results of the biopsy so we can get started on radiation therapy asap so that we can hopefully bring him home. He went from being perfectly "fine" a week ago, to almost full paralysis over the course of 2 days last Thursday. Heavy doses of steroids are helping him, and he's been talking better, still hard to understand, but I hear improvement, and he got cleared to eat soft foods yesterday. The only person allowed to visit him right now is my mom due to our current pandemic situation. At least we can talk to him on speaker phone while she's there. We are hopeful that the radiation treatment will shrink the cancer enough to reduce the inflammation on his brain so that he can regain some motor control and keep the cancer from getting worse. If you know my dad, or have ever met him, you know that he's one of the most caring, loving, generous, humble, and selfless person you might meet. He always puts others first. He's the best father, grandfather, husband, friend, and neighbor anyone could ever ask for. It blows my mind that this is happening to him right now. He's only 59, turning 60 next month. He is very loved. If you can, please continue to send positive thoughts, or prayers that my dad will have positive results from treatment. I can't bear the thought of him not being able to come home. As the medical bills are mounting and things are progressing rapidly, I am asking for donations to help with Bobby’s cancer treatments and care. Some of his treatments are not covered and are quite costly. He will require in home care and has a long road ahead. Super thankful for every donation and I know the family is so grateful.
