It sounds corny, but Bob was a selfless individual who would always give someone the shirt off his back to help them out. He was the first to lend a helping hand and always made himself available to friends and family in need, even opening up his own home to those who needed it. We knew how truly friendly and loved he was when we could not go anywhere without him knowing someone. Many of his friends I can honestly call family today.
From trips to the grocery store, beach days, car accidents, or even on vacation in different states or countries, he would always run into someone he knew. He had the biggest heart and would always save judgment on anyone till he truly got to know them. He always did everything 100%. Holiday decor was not safe from him wanting to be the best house on the block with the most realistic decorations. Even his scooter to get around Disneyland was always decked out in his favorite character, Goofy, and sometimes even lights. He truly tried to optimize everything and would always come up with the most creative solution to any problem, whether it was a problem or not.
He was a major foodie who always preferred cooking. Every time we turned around, there was a new kitchen gadget in our house, whether or not we needed it, that he was learning to expand on the already good food he made. Anyone who was fortunate enough to come over to our house was always treated to a home-cooked meal and sent home with enough leftovers to fill not only their own bellies but their families as well. At Bob's kitchen, the food was plentiful, there was beer in the fridge, and the food on record never sucked.
