Support Bob Bish with Medical Expenses
To all Wilshire Residents and Friends: Bob Bish, Superintendent of our Clubhouse & Grounds, suffered a stroke on Monday, December 9th.
Fortunately, Bob is doing well and has already begun physical therapy. However, Bob’s health insurance is covered by the Affordable Care Act. Consequently, his premiums are in excess of $1500 per month. His deductible is in the thousands, not including medication costs. With the New Year right around the corner, Bob’s deductible will renew the first of January, and he will have to start paying out of pocket until the 2025 deductible is met!
Bob has been with us for over 20 years. During this time, he has gotten to know most of our residents through his friendliness & willingness to help anyone in any way that he can. When a resident needs something, Bob is always there to help.
Several residents and friends have asked if there is anything they can do. This “Go Fund Me “page, allows us to donate online. This donation is completely voluntary and is a one-time effort just to help Bob through a difficult time. Donations can be anonymous, or you can use your name.
Bob and his wife, Denise, have no family support so he needs our help. This is a call to our community – Please Give What You Can. No amount is too small.
Bob’s medical costs are overwhelming! If you wish to contribute, click on the link listed below, and it will take you directly to the donation page with instructions on how to donate online. This will be a one-time effort just to help Bob through a difficult time.
We appreciate everyone taking the time to read this and donate whatever you can. Please try to share this with residents who do not have internet access.
Thank you for being part of our support network.
