Cancer can effect a family in so many ways from loss to financial dispair and worries.  Today I am asking for those of you who know Bob Wickersham , maybe a friend of a friend who knows Bob, a previous customer who purchased art from them  or someone who  knows what they are going through,  to #1 hold him and his family up in prayer.  #2 to help this family financially through this time by donating to this Gofundme.

2 years ago Bob was diagnosised with Prostate Cancer, he has been through treatment and the time has now arised to where he no longer will be recieving any other treatment.  The VA doctors have treated him as far as they can, it has been decided as of last week that no more chemo will be done as his liver can no longer handle it.  His PSA has increased to 1900 and the cancer has progressed in to his bones, he is in continual pain and has been placed on hospice.  His loving wife Cathy has been by side every moment possible.  The VA has found a private room  for him at the Hospice Care Center, this is a blessing as Cathy was caring for him at home 24/7 and he will now recieve expert care that is needed and she can concentrate on just being there for him in these last days.

As many of you know Cathy is an amazing Artist attached you will see a painting she painted and finished few months ago and her story to go with it.  She posted this on facebook recently with a few other updates.

"Splendor of Grace"

From Cathy: April 17th, 2018

God has given both Bob and I real Peace in this trial even though it does have hard and overwhelming times.  In the midst of all of this I would like to share about God's Grace.
A few weeks ago i needed some down time from all that has been going on with Bob's health.  I decided to paint that day.  Painting gives me serenity.  I pulled out a painting I had started last summer.  This unfinished painting was the 3rd attempt at painting the subject.  The 1st two paintings didn't turn out right.
I prayed and asked God if he would hold my hand and speak to my heart and mind and show me how to paint this painting the way it should be.  I began painting that day.  I painted in an area where there is a bay window which gives lots of indirect light.  That afternoon as I was painting a ray of light came through the bay window on the canvas where i was painting in the form of a double rainbow!  Very suprised I looked out the window to see where the reflection was coming from.  I couldn't see any place where it was coming from.  It stayed there on the canvas without moving  any direction as a reflection would normally do.  I called out to Bob, I asked him if he could walk downstairs to see this strange light.  He had been laid up for quite awhile but was now trying to walk slowly.  He did walk downstairs slowly.  He verified there was a double rainbow on my painting.  The rainbow stayed on the canvas at the top middle part of the painting for about a half hour.  I didn't understand what it meant.  I remembered that the prior week our Bible Study group had just finished studing about the Flood, and God's promise of the Rainbow.  I prayed and asked God if this was a promise?  I didn't understantd what it was for but thought maybe I was suppose to paint the double rainbow in the painting.  So this is what I did.
A week later I finished the painting.  Bob and I usually sit down in the living room with any finished painting of mine placed across the room.  Bob gives me constructive criticism and critiques the work.  I so appreciate his input.  He said to me "Cathy this doesn't look like anything you have every painted before.  The trees are completely different." As he said that I became overwhelmed because I realized God had ansered my prayer about holding my hand and showing me how to paint the painting the way it should be! The proof of the answered prayer is because I have never painted this way before. We decided to name the painting "Splendor of Grace".

Bob and Cathy are best friends and without Bob by her side to help her critique her paintings, go out weekly to her Art shows, times will be difficult and different for her.  Bob and Cathy depend on income from her Art and his beautiful photos on a weekly basis.  So what is being asked is a little extra finiancial help for Cathy as she is at Bob's bedside and a few months after he has gone to be with Jesus.
Thank you all for prayers and your heart felt giving.
