BOB ADLER (ADZ) AND ANNIE STAFFORD EMERGENCY FUND

Danny Rocke, Cary Crane, Arthur Krakower, Brett Schuchat, Cliff Rosenberg, and Kenny Oliver are organizing this fund raiser on behalf of Bob Adler and his wife Annie Stafford.

We are starting this fund raiser for our dear friends Bob Adler & Annie Stafford. Bob and Annie have been suffering from serious medical issues for a few years now. Back and forth from treatment centers, hospitals rehab and home. Physically, mentally, and financially cancer treatments have taken its toll.

Beginning April 9, 2020, a Bay Terrace zoom was started and it has happened weekly since then. Many of us will be getting together Saturday July 23 in Crocheron Park. Some of us have been friends for more than 60 years! Last night, Bob was sad to say he is not physically up to making it there. Bob has always loved these get togethers, traveling in from his home in Pennsylvania. After some sobering moments Bob was asked if there is anything he needed. Humbly and dejectedly, he said “money”. The rest of us on last night’s zoom knew we needed to help. Doctors said there is not much more that they can do to help Bob. Hospice will start in the near future, and we are trying to both comfort Bob and help make sure he knows that his wife Annie is taken care of.

So, at this time we are reaching out to all who have ties to Bob and Annie from Bayside, PS 169 back schoolyard, the Bay Terrace circle, Clearview (209), Whitestone (Bob covered a lot of ground) and Pennsylvania to help out our friends and neighbors.
