I want to thank you all for the love and support during this tragic heartbreaking time. Including all the messages and calls, Thank you all for simply being there.
Honestly I'm not even sure where to start or what to say. Unlike my Brother, I'm a pretty private person. I'm sure if the tables were turned he would have had a 25 minute read typed out within an hour me passing. That's just how Bobby was though. He expressed his thoughts and feelings and wanted the world to hear him.
I guess first, as most of you already know, My brother Bobby and his 2 boys, Sylas & Elliot, were in a fatal car accident Monday evening, September 20th around 6pm on Sodus Pkwy. Bobby had just picked the boys up from their Mom. He got a pizza, they were eating and headed home. It started raining really hard, Bobby lost control and his car & veered off into oncoming traffic. He was then t-boned on the passenger side. Bobby and Sylas died instantly. Elliot sustained multiple breaks and some internal injuries. He is still in ICU so Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Bobby. Everybody knew Bobby (Bob 33). Heh - My brother was 'almost famous' kinda famous! Maybe even a little more then he actually knew. He was a badass drummer. He's toured Europe. He played shows in Chicago, South bend, Kalamazoo, literally just everywhere around here and damn every talent show I can remember. He's opened up for big names like Dying Fetus and more. He definitely lived a rock star kind of life style. I've always been proud to call him my Brother. His drums were his passion and his boys were his life. He cared for everyone and helped whenever you needed it. He loved his fans, his friends, his band brothers and his family with his whole heart. So many people know him and love him & it makes my heart so happy to see the out pouring of love you have all shown this last week.
My family is setting up this go fund me to raise money to help cover funeral cost and hopefully to get the grave marker Bobby wanted. Again thank you all for the love and support Bobby will truly be missed by so many.
