My brother Drew Craig and his family were the victims of arson last week. Somebody maliciously and intentionally lit his boat on fire in front of his home at 2:30 am. A neighbor captured the act on a surveillance camera and an investigation is under way. Ironically, my brother is a firefighter and at the time of the crime was on duty at his station while his wife and 2 kids were sound asleep. Thankfully a passerby awoke his wife before further destruction spread to their home. Drew and his family are heartbroken, this boat was their families recreational outlet. The boat and motor are destroyed. Unfortunately Drew did not have insurance on the boat so the reason for this Go Fund Me is to raise money to help pay off the destroyed motor that was recently purchased to which he still owes 11k....Drew and his wife Carrie have been involved in public service for 20 years and we cannot fathom why this random act of destruction was bestowed upon them. This Go Fund Me is to help Drew out from under his motor payment so that he can  try to piece together a new vessel for him and his family in the future. I understand this isn't an emergency or a death or any number of things that would be more deserved of your donation....but I strongly feel due to Drew and his wife's work in public service, Drew as a firefighter and Carrie as a dispatch operator that they are deserving of a little help in moving forward from this unexplainable and despicable act....Thank you
