After nine months of chemotherapy during my fight against bone marrow cancer, I have reached the point where I need to have a bone marrow transplant.  To my surprise I found out that during the initial month following the transplant I cannot be around the beagles at all.  I will basically have no immune system at all and it will be too risky for me to be around the fur-kids. 

The beagles have have never been boarded, nor have they been separated, but we have been able to find a facility that can house all five together so they don’t have to be separated. That is the only way I will consider it.

Cancer has turned out to be an expensive undertaking. The boarding of all five beagles for one month is going to be a touch over $4,000. I have set the goal here at $2,000. Just getting some help with the boarding cost will be tremendously helpful.  If you can contribute, that will be much appreciated. But please don’t unless you are comfortable doing so. We have the resources to board the kids regardless; we are just looking for a bit of help. This is the kind of hidden expense that comes along with a health emergency that insurance doesn’t cover.
