I am fundraising to board my cat Benjamin for an indefinite period. I am facing spinal surgery in the future, and will have a period of rehab following. It is not possible for Benjamin to stay home alone for the length of time I will need to recuperate, and my only option is to board him while I recover. Both the decision to have the surgery and to be away from Benjamin for any length of time are breaking my heart, and medical bills are challenging enough without adding an animal boarding to the debt.
